How It All Began

I already knew Ella’s family after DJing her cousins weddings, Jake & Jules and Ado & Caz. So when Ella and Thomas reached out about their own wedding I was so excited.

When they first emailed to get in touch they hadn’t even locked in a date or venue yet. They were looking at March or April 2027 and wanted to check my availability early. We found a date that worked perfectly. Fast forward to their reception at the beautiful Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and it was finally time to celebrate.

The First Dance

After a lovely evening of speeches, delicious food and plenty of drinks, it was time for Ella and Thomas’ first dance to Everything by Michael Bublé. These two were so lovely to watch and you could see how much they enjoyed the moment together.

Next up were some special family dances to Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, with Ella and her dad sharing a speical moment together and Thomas sharing a dance with his sister.

Ella and Thomas wanted a mix of ABBA, old-school '90s hits and all the classics and we hit them all.

Family Tradition

The dance floor really went off when the family line dances started.. think Footloose and the Cupid Shuffle.

I love when these traditions are part of a wedding. Some people know every single step while others are just trying to keep up but everyone gets involved and has a laugh!

As the night began to wind down, we brought everyone together in a big circle for Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver, with family and friends singing along at the top of their lungs.

Ella and Thomas chose Save the Last Dance for Me by Michael Bublé to finish the night. Such a perfect song to end an amazing celebration and also shows their love for Bublé.

A huge shoutout to Kenneth Lim for capturing so many beautiful moments throughout Ella and Thomas’ wedding. The photos are absolutely stunning and I'm sure they'll look back on them for years to come. One of my fav things is spotting myself smiling away in the background of some of the photos. You can see just how much I was enjoying being part of their day.
