We've had countless people say that it was the best wedding dance floor they've ever been on, and one friend who immediately asked for Katie's details for her own wedding. From our initial meeting right until the day, Katie was so organised and insightful about our wishes that we knew we could rely on her. With every little request, Katie was more than happy to accomodate which made our night just that much more special. She took our requests and recommendations and created a flawless set (with so many special mixes) that had the dance floor packed right until the lights turned on. We could not have been happier with how our night turned out and will be forever grateful to Katie for that!

Can’t say enough how happy we are that we found DJ Katie B and that she was part of our wedding day! The lead up was smooth sailing – Katie was professional, accommodating with the venue sound requirements, and took the time to make sure she knew the atmosphere we wanted. She was also so helpful with the timeline for the night and this meant we could relax and not worry about the logistics.

On the night, she totally nailed it! She read the room and created the best vibe. Everyone was up dancing, and she played all the 90's bangers and special songs we'd asked for! Katie honestly went above and beyond. She also did some of the MC duties for us, and at one point was even helping hand out our wedding favours – such an absolute gem!

Would highly recommend DJ Katie B. It’s a night we’ll never forget and she played such a big role in it.

We had DJ Katie B for our wedding back in December and I could not recommend her enough for anyone who is looking for a DJ. From the moment we booked with her she was so friendly, full of helpful tips and very fast to reply to all of our enquiries. Leading up to the day we met up with her to go through our music choices and she was able to help us with some fun music choices. She also provided us with MC notes and helped keep our MC on track throughout the night. On our wedding night I cannot speak more highly of her music choices and the great vibe she created. DJ Katie was so amazing, she is so much more than just a DJ! There was an incredible amount of information available and reminders along the way- she could have been my wedding planner! Katie made the whole process so easy, and worth every $. I easily met up with her a few times before the day and gave so many invaluable tips for the whole day, I would have to say she was my favourite wedding vendor- the party would not have gone off so well without her. We loved the thorough advice on how the day should run for our cocktail wedding/ timing of songs to fit the people at the wedding and our guest's vibe. It was PERFECT, all our guests kept telling us how much fun the day was it was such an extra bonus the next day she sent a bunch of dance floor videos for us to remember forever! - I can't thank you enough Katie!!

Form the moment we met you at our initial meeting, we knew your bubbly personality was perfect for our laid back, full of love and laughter day. We asked her to provide a dance floor, that gets people up and partying all night. From 8pm when the dance floor started... it didn’t stop!! Every song was a hit. We received so many compliments about DJ Katie and feel she will getting some extra business from family and friends in the future. Then the next day, we received so much awesome behind the scenes footage from Katie, with everyone carving up the dance floor. We loved it!! We thought of Katie as a friend and loved every minute of her being apart of out day. Everyone book her!

We found Katie through another wedding and we were SO glad our paths crossed! Katie was so fun, energetic and adaptable from our first meeting all the way through to the very end of our perfect wedding day. We planned everything through the middle of COVID lockdowns and while we couldn't always meet in person, this was never an issue. Katie was so flexible and was able to read the room and had people on the dancefloor the whole night! From the moment we selected south sound events for our wedding we knew we had done the right thing! Mandy and DJ Katie B were so supportive the whole way through and were always on hand for any questions we had. Every few months we would receive a check in email to make sure we were getting our music selections done and to see if we needed help with anything other than music – these guys should run a wedding planning business as well as being DJ’s, they are so on top of everything!

DJ Katie B was awesome! She is super friendly and knowledgeable about all things music. All our friends loved the music, it just seemed to fit with the vibe of the night and all of the perfect songs were played at the perfect times! Our friends are still saying how fun our dance floor was!!

DJ Katie B where do we even begin! It’s hard for my husband and I to truly express our gratitude to this incredibly talented DJ. We asked her for the ultimate party and that’s exactly what she gave us. Our dance floor rocked all night and EVERY song was a hit. Not to mention all she did behind the scenes with a structured run sheet, clear communication with our MC and FaceTime calls or emails to ensure we were all on the same page.

My now husband and I hired Kate to DJ at our wedding and she was AMAZING! Kate was super flexible with our busy lives and our initial meeting was over FaceTime where Kate was super lovely and friendly. This meeting was really important we thought as we could all have a discussion about what tunes we loved and the running of the wedding day with our MC etc. Kate gave me some great advice about my run sheet and this helped to keep everything clear and concise. At the wedding everybody of all ages got enjoyment out of the music all night! The wedding day weather was pretty hectic but Kate was great to organise and sort herself out with differing arrival times, she was extremely organised and efficient. DJ Katie B is awesome! Had my 21st over the weekend and it could not have gone any better. Awesome set up, brilliant tunes, and plenty of great company. Katie did a great job - everyone loved her. She did a little bit of research into me, finding out what music I like and which songs to play for karaoke, which just shows you how far she is willing to go in order to make your night one to remember. NYE Event December 2018

Katie smashed it on New Year’s Eve at Mister Walker. Great music all night and cranked it at midnight to step it up. Awesome lady and got the dance floor happening.
